Website & Event Hub Terms of Use
Last updated: 9 October 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the MERKURI corporate website, any MERKURI-branded or MERKURI-operated Event Hub, and related QR routes, content and online features (together, the "Services").
1.1. Who we are
MERKURI LTD, trading as MERKURI ("MERKURI", "we", "us", "our"), is a company registered under company number 17419302, with registered office at 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 5PF.

1.2. Using the Services
You may browse the Services for lawful personal or business purposes. By using the Services you agree to comply with these Terms. This does not mean that you consent to optional analytics; analytics consent is requested separately.
If a particular event, offer, promotion, competition, ticket or external service has additional terms, those additional terms apply to that feature. If there is an inconsistency, the more specific terms govern that feature to the extent of the inconsistency.
1.3. Event Hubs
An Event Hub is a digital information and engagement experience associated with an event. Event Hubs may include schedules, profiles, resources, partner content, reward or offer information, external links and other event material.
Event information may be supplied by organisers, partners or other third parties. We take reasonable care in publishing information but do not guarantee that event schedules, availability, speaker details, partner content or external offers will remain unchanged.
1.4. QR routes
A MERKURI QR code may direct your device to an Event Hub or other approved destination. A QR request is not evidence of attendance, identity, eligibility, redemption or purchase.
You are responsible for checking the destination before relying on any QR-linked content. We may disable or redirect a route where reasonably necessary for security, event administration, correction of an error or discontinuation of a feature.
1.5. Partners and third-party services
Event Hubs may identify or link to event organisers, venues, partners, sponsors or third-party services. Unless expressly stated, a link, logo or reference does not mean that MERKURI controls that third party or guarantees its products, services, availability, security or privacy practices.
Third-party websites and services are governed by their own terms and privacy information. You should review those terms before using the third-party service.
1.6. Rewards, offers and promotions
A reward or offer shown in an Event Hub is subject to the conditions displayed with that offer and, where applicable, the relevant partner's terms. Availability may be limited by time, location, eligibility, quantity or other disclosed conditions.
A click on an offer or reward is an engagement signal only. It does not prove redemption, eligibility, fulfilment or receipt of a benefit.
Prize draws, competitions and similar promotions require separate promotion-specific terms. Nothing in these Terms creates a prize promotion unless a separate promotion expressly says so.
1.7. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the Services and their MERKURI branding, design, software, text, graphics and original content are owned by or licensed to MERKURI. Third-party names, logos, photographs and materials remain the property of their respective owners.
You may view and use the Services for their intended purpose. You must not copy, scrape, reproduce, reverse engineer, republish, sell, sublicense or exploit a substantial part of the Services except as permitted by law or with prior written permission.
1.8. Prohibited use
You must not misuse the Services, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security or availability, introduce malicious code, automate abusive requests, circumvent access controls, impersonate another person or use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent or misleading activity.
We may restrict or block access where reasonably necessary to protect the Services, users, partners or our legal rights.
1.9. Information you submit
If you send a partnership or business enquiry, you must provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are authorised to provide. Do not submit sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary and requested.
Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing and does not constitute consent to optional Event Hub analytics.
1.10. Availability and changes
We may update, suspend or discontinue parts of the Services where reasonably necessary. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability, particularly where interruption results from maintenance, third-party infrastructure, security incidents, network conditions or events outside our reasonable control.
Where a printed QR route has been issued for an event, we will use reasonable efforts to preserve an appropriate destination or explanatory ended/archived state rather than intentionally creating a dead route.
1.11. No professional advice
Content on the Services is provided for event, product and business information. It is not legal, financial, medical or other regulated professional advice unless a page expressly states otherwise.
1.12. Our responsibility
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If you are a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights are not affected.
Subject to the above, to the extent permitted by law, MERKURI is not responsible for losses caused by reliance on outdated third-party event information, third-party websites or services, or failures outside MERKURI's reasonable control where we have exercised reasonable care.
If you use the Services in the course of business, MERKURI will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill or anticipated savings arising from use of the Services, except where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
1.13. Privacy and analytics
Our Privacy Notice explains how we process personal information. Our Cookies & Storage Technologies Notice explains browser storage and similar technologies.
Optional Event Hub analytics is not activated merely because you accept these Terms or continue browsing. Where required, it is activated only after the separate analytics choice shown to you.
1.14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Services, law, security requirements or business arrangements. The current version and effective date will be published on the Services. Material changes will not be used to retrospectively expand an analytics consent.
1.15. General
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of that right. No person other than you and MERKURI has a right to enforce these Terms unless expressly stated.
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory law gives a consumer the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
